Concerts on the Hill presents performances in an intimate house concert setting. We usually book our friends on their travels around the country and have found that we don't really seem to be a venue that draws large crowds for conventional or contemporary folk. We have a small schedule so it is unlikely we would be able to host performers we're not at least to some degree familiar with.

We seat 30 people very comfortably with ample room, and can seat up to a maximum of around 50. We do not currently have a house sound system/PA but do have the ability to bring sound in (thought that may come at a cost). If a sound system is required we prefer the artist supply their PA (which we can of course operate for you). For an acoustic performance a PA may not be necessary in the space, depending on the artist. The natural room sound and layout is favorable.

We strongly believe the artists' efforts must be supported, so all proceeds from our productions go directly to the musicians.

Our musical interests cover a wide range, including rock, jazz, Americana, blues, folk, pop, experimental, ambient, christian, and other genres. We're not looking to host country, bluegrass, or "traditional" folk. The space is most conducive to a solo/small group "unplugged" format, but has flexibility (we have had full acoustic, and electric, bands).

If we don't know who you are, we'll need to hear your music, preferably live, and hear enough of it to get a good idea of what you're about.
